Popular Canadian comedy troupe known as "Trailer Park Boys" will now be going by "Trailer Park Them/They"

Trailer Park "Boys" is no more. In a brave and stunning move, the comedy actors have rebranded their popular TV program "Trailer Park They/Them" in a move towards inclusivity for all

Trailer Park Boys, a show that first came to be as a 1999 movie, will be changing part of their decades-long name "Trailer Park Boys". The series centers around the characters Ricky, Bubbles, and Julian as they cook up nefarious schemes for quick bucks. The lovable, "greasy" troupe known for their antics involving Sunnyvale Trailer Park set in Nova Scotia are seeing the error in their naming of their group after all these years. In an effort to fight for inclusivity, they will be rebranding their show to "Trailer Park They/Them". While longtime fans of the series may question the change and motive behind it, we at CNN applaud the move and look forward to many more beloved series bucking what made them who they are in the first place. "Trailer Park Boys" was never an appropriate name and countless girls and gender-fluid individuals have undoubtedly suffered greatly due to it. Bravo, Trailer Park They/Them. Bravo.
